Identify the Drawing Revision
Give the file a clear part name and revision. Indicate units, overall dimensions, interfaces and any critical tolerances. Distinguish reference dimensions from requirements.
Add Material and Surface Notes
State the intended application, material requirements, finish and secondary machining. Include a reference sample or image where useful, while keeping the drawing as the dimension reference.
Define Scope of Supply
Confirm quantity, any sample needs, packaging and destination. Ask which assumptions or missing information the supplier needs resolved before a quotation is finalized.
